A Unique Place For That Special Event
Singapore Art Museum was formerly a Catholic boy's school. Founded in 1852, the classical grand façade and dome were designed by French architect-priest, Father Charles Benedict Nain. When the school relocated in 1987, the premise was gazetted as a national monument and restoration work commenced in 1992. The museum officially opened in January 1996. Conveniently located in the heart of the city along Bras Basah Road, the grand façade and driveway make an impressive entrance for arriving guests.
The Glass Hall
The Glass Hall is a multi-purpose and fully air-conditioned hall, a meeting place suited for cocktails, dinners or wedding functions. Within the historical site of the old St. Joseph's Institution, the Glass Hall is an elegant room of contemporary design, equipped with the latest audio-visual facilities. It is an ideal place where you create lasting impressions for that memorable private party you have in mind.
